Washoe County School Trustees have chosen attorney Ryan Gonda, as the new interim member of the board of trustees. Gonda will serve in District C, replacing Nick Smith who resigned after being accused of misconduct with an underage girl at his former job. Seven other candidates were interviewed for the position. Gonda will serve until December, a new member will be elected in November to finish the final two years of the term.
