Reno Fire Rescues Four From The Truckee

The Reno Fire Department was called to a report of several people in distress in the Truckee River about one-thirty yesterday afternoon. The Water Entry Team, five engines , one truck and one rescue vehicle were dispatched. They found four victims who had become separated from their flotation tubes at several locations along the river near West McCarran. All four were pulled from the river with minor injuries and hypothermia. All four are expected to recover. None of them were wearing personal flotation devices.
