The Nevada Department of Transportation celebrated the groundbreaking of the connector from  I-80 to US 50 in the USA Parkway area this week, paving the way for a shorter route from the Fernley area to points south. In fact, once the 12 miles of roadway is laid, it will cut around a half hour off your drive. More than 17,000 drivers are expect to use the road daily once construction is complete
