Drivers on Interstate 80 just over the Nevada border can expect lane closures and slowdowns this week. Eastbound 80 will having the right lane and shoulder closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, for a hazardous materials clean up between the Hinton Road under-crossing to the Floriston off-ramp. From Monday to Thursday the westbound right land and shoulder of Interstate 80 will be closed from the Sierra County line to the Farad undercrossing for slide removal. Additionally, there will be overnight roadwork and alternating lane closures on Interstate 80 starting tonight through Saturday June 25th from just west of Auburn to Rocklin.
