A two vehicle crash on Pyramid Hwy north of Spanish Springs Saturday resulted in the death of a mother of two, riding in one of the vehicles. The NHP says the crash happened around 11:15 am just north of Axe Handle Canyon Road. It involved an SUV, which overturned, and a sedan. NHP officials say the mother was riding in the SUV. The driver of the sedan did not appear to be injured. The collision forced the closure of a portion of Pyramid Highway for about four hours.
