A magnitude 4.5 earthquake struck between Reno and Susanville last night, shaking some residents in the Truckee Meadows. The first temblor, the largest of the group, struck at about 9:55 last night. That was 3-and-a-half minutes later by a pair of 4.4 shakers. An aftershock of 2.8 hit about 15 minutes after the first jolt. The depth of the quakes ranged from about 1/2 mile- to 2 1/2 miles-deep. There are no reports of any damage.
