Victorian Avenue in Sparks will be tied up for a bit this week because the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County is applying slurry to the roadway.  The slurry will provide a seal on the roadway, to protect it and extend the life of the asphalt. Thursday Victorian will be closed from El Rancho Drive to Rock Blvd from 5am until 5pm, and Friday Victorian will be shut down from Rock to Pyramid during those hours. Drivers should plan on using Prater as an alternate route while the work is being completed.
