An investigation into people making and spending counterfeit money in the Carson City area has led to the arrest of three suspects. 21-year-old Conrad Hilbmann, 22-year-old Lorrie Lockwood, and 22-year-old Kathleen M. Lockwood were arrested on suspicion of counterfeiting, possession of a financial forgery lab, possession of forged bills, passing counterfeit money and conspiracy to commit forgery. After searching a motel room, investigators seized more than $3,000 in counterfeit money. They also found a counterfeit currency manufacturing lab, counterfeit money in various stages of production and a small amount of methamphetamine.
