Colin Kaepernick’s former Coach Chris Ault in a letter to the Reno Gazette Journal, says he has no problem with him using his celebrity to protest a cause for oppressed people of color, saying prejudice unfortunately still exists in our country. But Ault says not standing up for the national anthem is disrespectful and has “shortchanged the essence of his message.” Ault also adds using an NFL game as his platform was “Selfish.”
