The deal worked out between solar providers, NV Energy and the state’s consumer advocate has been approved by the Nevada Public Utilities Commission. The agreement restores more favorable rates for about 32 thousand customers who either installed rooftop solar, or who contracted to do so before last December 31st. The older rates are being “Grandfathered” in,  for the next 20 years.
