The U.S. Department of Education announced that Kendyl Depoali Middle School has been designated a National Blue Ribbon School, based upon the school’s overall academic excellence. This national recognition honors public and private elementary-, middle-, and high schools whose students perform at very high levels, or where significant improvements are being made in students’ levels of achievement. Dr. Angie Taylor, president of the Washoe County School District Board of Trustees says Dapaoli is a shining example of what can be accomplished when a team of dedicated professionals and families works together.”
