45 year old Santiago Fernandez of Silver Springs has been arrested in the shooting death of Robert Buchanan the 3rd. He is currently being held in Yerington of a charge of Open Murder, with the use of a deadly weapon. Fernandez is being held on a no bail warrant. Buchanan was found shot to death at a gas station along Highway 95A last week. Lyon County investigators say the shooting was the latest crime in an ongoing feud between two families.
