A new report available from Nevada’s Department of Taxation says jobs will continue to grow in Nevada, and the people who will fill them are coming. State Demographer Jeff Hardcastle says Nevada may even buck the decline in manufacturing. He expects 6,000 new jobs in manufacturing over the next 20 years. He’s also projecting an increase in the state’s population by 426,000 residents by 2035. Most of the growth is anticipated in Washoe and Clark counties. Hardcastle tells the Nevada Appeal the state has regained all the jobs lost during the recession.
