A 10-year agreement has been made to bring minor league hockey to the biggest little city. The games will be played at the Reno Events Center. The Reno City Council also approved management of the facility by the Reno Puck Club. The first hockey games are scheduled to begin in fall of 2018, and will add around 40 events annually at the Center. The Reno Puck Club will be responsible for renovations, which are expected to cost about $5.6 million dollars, with $2.9 million going towards locker rooms, $2.4 million for and ice rink, and $100,000 for elevators.
