The final report on the investigation into allegations of sexual harassment levied against former city manager, Andrew Clinger has been completed. Investigator David Wall concludes that while some “primary complaints” have merit, others, do not. The five-month investigation found no evidence to support the claim that clinger engaged in sexually inappropriate relationships with his employees, but did uncover some shortcomings in his performance. In a statement released after the report, Reno Major Hilary Shieve said “the City Council is committed to taking all necessary and appropriate steps to further ensure that City employees enjoy a professional working environment, and are never the subject of unlawful discrimination, harassment or retaliation.” and added, “the council is committed to transparency at all levels.”
