Two people have been arrested in connection with a robbery that led to a stabbing at the RTC bus station Monday night. About 9PM, officers responded to reports of a stabbing on East 4th Street. They found a man who appeared to have been stabbed in the back. He was taken to a hospital for surgery; police say he is recovering. Police say several witnesses provided a description of the person who stabbed him, and a person matching that description was found nearby. After talking with that person and others, police say they determined the stabbing was self-defense. Police say multiple people attacked one person in the bus station and during that attack, they took a backpack from him. Police say he then stabbed one of his attackers. No charges are expected.
