Police are warning the public of a scam involving ATMs. The Reno Police Department responded to multiple locations in the downtown area recently on reports of skimming devices found on ATM machines. Police are not releasing the locations of the ATMs because the investigation is still active. Three devices used to capture pin numbers were recovered. and other machines have been found to have evidence of devices having been recently removed. The Reno Police Department urges the community to take the time to observe any irregularities when using any ATM.
