Washoe County School District Superintendent Traci Davis delivered her “State of Education” address at Depoali Middle school Wednesday, talking about progress being made at our educational institutions.  Some of the highlights included in the address are the up turn in graduation numbers in the district. Six high schools in Washoe County had grad rates of 90% or higher last year. They’re Damonte Ranch, Reno High, McQueen, Northstar, AACT, and TMCC High. Superintendent Tracie Davis says another big issue in the table is the district taking an active approach to train the future workforce needed at the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center.
