Secret Witness is now offering a reward for information in connection with the shooting of a police officer near Kietzke & Peckham last Thursday. During a traffic stop, Reno police were fired upon and one officer was shot. He’s now in stable condition. One suspect was killed in the firefight, while the other fled on foot. That suspect is believed to be 17 year old Erick Bernal, who is described as Hispanic, approximately 5′ 8″ tall, 135 pounds with a shaved head.
