Governor Requests Federal Help For February Floods

Governor Brian Sandoval has made another request for a disaster declaration, this time for the flooding that occured in February. He’s written to the President, and has asked for assistance from the Army Corps of Engineers for help specific to Lemmon Valley. February floods also left damage in Douglas County, Elko County and  Carson City, and the Governor says he’s making sure we are better prepared for the potential for flooding during the spring runoff.
