The Nevada Highway Patrol confirms investigators have found a White Pine County Sheriff’s patrol SUV stolen early Monday morning. The car had a K-9 inside. A deputy had arrested two people, who were cuffed and in the back seat. While the deputy was collecting evidence, one of the suspects got loose, got into the driver’s seat and drove off, then abandoned the SUV blocks away. Both suspects were able to get out, but were tracked and arrested within minutes. The dog, which was in the rear of the SUV, is not hurt.
