Forgiveness For Past Pot Violations?

Nevadans convicted of simple possession of marijuana would be able to have those offenses expunged from their record, under a bill introduced this week in the State Assembly.  AB 259 by William McCurdy says this is to help low level offenders convicted in the past for things that are now legal.  As recently as 2009, possession of any amount of marijuana in Nevada was a felony, and sentences of ten years or longer were not uncommon.
