A Washington state man is in custody after a stabbing that killed a man and injured a woman in Fallon Tuesday night. Fallon Police were sent to the Overland Hotel in East Center Street, where they found a man who had been stabbed multiple times. He was pronounced dead at Banner Churchill Hospital; his name has not been released. The other victim, Shirley Ng of Fernley, was flown to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno. Her condition has not been released. Police arrested 55-year-old Mitchell Goodrum for open murder and battery with a deadly weapon. Police continue to investigate. No information has been released about the relationship between the three and a possible motive.
