The Assembly Subcommittee on Energy will hold a hearing on a proposal to restore Nevada’s rooftop solar industry. AB 270, by Assemblyman Justin Watkins, would restore the once-thriving rooftop solar industry in Nevada. The industry virtually ground to a halt after the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada in 2015, changed costs and credits for homeowners who planned to invest in rooftop solar generation systems.
