Join the Reno-Tahoe International Airport and the High Fives Foundation in welcoming 22 injured U.S. military veterans and athletes, seven of whom are local, as they begin a week-long adaptive ski program, Military to the Mountains, taking place at Squaw Valley Ski Resort. Each of the military veterans was critically injured during their service to the nation and will spend a week learning adaptive skiing techniques through the Military to the Mountains program. Fifteen servicemen are set to arrive from Dallas at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport Monday, April 3, at 6:30 p.m., they will be joining seven participants from the Reno-Tahoe area, and the public is welcome to help greet them as they make their way to Squaw. Meet at the ski statue in the main lobby of the airport terminal.
