The Federal Emergency Management Agency will provide funds to help Nevada communities recover from ongoing flooding that resulted from severe winter storms in February. FEMA designated as eligible Douglas County, including the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California within the State of Nevada, Elko including the South Fork Band of Te-Moak Tribe of Western Shoshone, Humboldt, and Washoe, as well as Carson City. Senator Dean Heller says he welcomes the Administration’s announcement, and will continue to monitor the ongoing flooding closely and collaborate with state, local, and federal officials to help Nevada communities recover.
