April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month, and law enforcement is on high alert, looking for people on their cell phones, shaving, and doing other things they shouldn’t while operating a motor vehicle. In fact, in 2015, over 3,400 people across the US died in car crashes, and more than 390,000 were injured because they weren’t paying attention to road. Nationally, the rate is highest amongst 16 to 24 year olds, but not in Nevada. 35 to 50 year olds are the age group of most distracted offenders in the Silver State.
