A children’s ski school employee at Heavenly Mountain Resort is charged with child exploitation,  and possession of child pornography. Federal authorities also allegedly found explicit images of children taken in a Gardnerville day care bathroom. 26 year old Stephan L. DeGraffenreid, of Gardnerville faces a minimum of 15 years in prison, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Law enforcement found child pornography on an Apple iPod Touch at the Children’s Ski School at Heavenly, it belonged to DeGraffenreid and a follow up search of his Gardnerville home and found explicit images of children taken at an unnamed Gardnerville daycare facility restroom.   The case is being investigated by the FBI and the Washoe County and El Dorado county sheriff’s offices. But the US Attorneys office says, DeGraffenreid admitted to downloading and possessing the child pornography.
