The Siena Hotel next to the Truckee River on Lake Street has undergone a complete remodel and is reopening as the new Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel. It’s the second non gaming, non smoking hotel downtown, with 214 rooms, and 28 suites. What did they do with the 28,000 square feet of casino space? It’s been transformed into bocce balls courts.  A public grand opening is planned for May 17th.
