A Carson City Sheriffs Deputy is recovering from minor injuries, after being hit in traffic by an alleged drunk driver in traffic. The NHP is investigating the crash that happened Sunday morning at Roop and William Street in Carson City. 27-year-old Nepper Stacia of Gardnerville was booked for misdemeanor DUI and failure to respond to a traffic control after investigators say she ran a red light and hit the deputy’s patrol car. She was not injured.
