The Reno/Sparks Association of Realtors released its April  report on existing home sales in Washoe County. It showed Washoe County had 508 sales of existing single-family homes; a decrease of 11 percent from a year ago. The report listed the median sales price for an existing single family residence in Washoe County in April at $323,695 ; up 10 percent from April 2016 and a 2 percent increase from March 2017.  The median sales price in Reno for an existing single family residence in April  was $342,475; a 12 percent increase from April 2016.  Sparks median sales price for an existing single family residence in May 2017 was $295,500; a 4 percent increase from last April.  John Graham, the RSAR President says, the Reno market remains a seller’s market and he anticipate that lasting through the end of the year.
