Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies have arrested a man suspected of stealing a car, then crashing it into shrubbery. The GMC Yukon was swiped from the parking lot of a Sun Valley Casino early Wednesday morning. They used surveillance video to identify the thief, and later in the morning, spotted an SUV that looked like the stolen vehicle in the area around East Leonesio Drive. Minutes later, the driver of the SUV crashed; deputies have not determined why. He then ran off. Deputies caught him walking out of an apartment complex.
