The Washoe County School District will move forward with plans to study the possibility of building a high school at Wildcreek Golf Course. After all other agencies already approved the project, the RSCVA signed a letter of intent Thursday in support of the project. The school district needs the land currently owned by the county and operated by the RSCVA. Washoe County plans to keep at least nine holes of golf in place, selling the remaining 18 to the school district. Nearby residents are concerned a significant amount of green space will be lost in the land sale.
