The Nevada Highway Patrol says one person has died in a crash in Lyon County, that involved an NHP trooper. The crash happened shortly after 2:30PM Monday, on Highway 50 between Dayton and Stagecoach. Lieutenent Kevin Honea says the troopers injuries are serious but not life threatening.  The trooper reportedly suffered broken ribs in the crash. Reno Police will investigate.
