The Nevada Department of Wildlife conducted its annual goose roundup Wednesday at Paradise Park in Reno. NDOW says the idea is to round up Canada geese from the Reno area and move them to safer environments in eastern Nevada. NDOW says a major concern is geese being hit by jetliners. The goal is to keep the local goose population down to about 2,000.
