The El Dorado Sheriff’s Office says they have apprehended 24-year-old Bernardo Castillo; a stabbing suspect out of Placerville. They say Castillo was arrested after the El Centro Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle around 1:50 a.m. Friday morning. Deputies say after checking the vehicle registration, they were able to positively identify Castillo and placed him under arrest without incident. June 12th, El Dorado Deputies were called to a home on Newton Road in Placerville on reports of a stabbing. They found a dead woman inside. A child was also found in the home suffering from multiple stab wounds.
