(KOH) – Local agencies have put together a fun triathlon series for kids. Events will be held throughout the summer.
The triathlons consist of running, biking, and swimming, and are designed to introduce kids to the sport. This series is non-competitive – no times or places will be recorded. The kids will be divided into 5 age groups: 4-6, 7&8, 9&10, 11&12, and teenagers. Participants must provide their own equipment, including bike helmet, and must be able to swim across the pool unassisted. Parents must accompany children ages 4 to 6 for the swimming event.
Registration costs $35 per person per event, and includes a t-shirt, medal, and goody bag. If all races are completed, the kids will receive a special t-shirt.
