It’s hot and dry, and with tremendous growth due to a wet winter, fire restrictions are being imposed on most public lands Friday.  In Northern Nevada that includes BLM, NDF and Indian affairs lands.  Restrictions include, no fires outside developed campgrounds, smoking restrictions, a ban on motorized vehicles off existing roads, restrictions on welding, using explosives, possession or use of fireworks and other incendiaries.  If you start a wildfire you could be held responsible for the costs associated with fighting it.
