Drug Dealer Sentenced to 20 Years After Selling Heroin In Front of His Son

A Reno man has been sentenced to at least eight years in prison for selling narcotics in front of his toddler. 38-year-old Orville Curtis was found guilty in May 2017 of three drug-related charges including having sold heroin from his vehicle with his 18-month-old son in the back seat. The sentence is 20 years, with parole possible after eight. Curtis was arrested selling heroin in the parking lot of the Walgreens on North Virginia Street. Detectives found his toddler in the car with him, as well as two grams of heroin and .4 grams of meth.
