Washoe County Commissioners approved a code change allowing temporary business licenses for recreational marijuana. It means medical only facilities could begin selling by August 4th. These changes comply with state regulations that existing businesses with medical marijuana licenses that are in good standing, are eligible to apply for recreational marijuana business licenses. Three existing businesses and one cultivation facility will likely be approved to sell recreational marijuana.
