NV Energy repair teams are checking for damage to power poles, and Sierra Front says the Black Mountain Fire between Nixon and Wadsworth is now contained. The 961-acre fire started just after 2pm Wednesday afternoon near Highway 447. NDOT says SR 447 has reopened to normal traffic.
