Local Pot Store Owners Can Remain Anonymous According to High Court

The State Supreme court has overruled a District Judge. The state’s high court says people who own marijuana dispensaries can keep that information confidential. The Reno Gazette Journal sued the City of Sparks for redacting names in business license records, and won in the lower court. But now the high court has ruled state lawmakers intended to keep names private based on the language of the state law. RGJ apparently plans to keep pushing for transparency.
