Saturday, the Reno Fire Department responded to the 6800 block of Sharlands Avenue in northwest Reno on the report of a car on fire inside a
garage. Crews saw black smoke billowing from the garage when they arrived on scene. The owner of the home lost his classic Mustang that he was prepping to cruise for Hot August Nights. He also received minor burns and was treated for smoke inhalation. No firefighters were injured.
