Nevada’s unemployment rated ticked up slightly after holding steady for three months. The Nevada Department of Employment and Training says July’s unemployment rate was 4.8 percent. That’s an increase of “Point one” percent and comes after the jobless number held at 4.7 percent for the previous three months. Unemployment in Nevada spiked in 2010, at nearly 14 percent.
