Sparks Police are searching for two men in connection with an armed robbery that happened just before 2 a.m. Tuesday. Officers responded to reports of screaming and a man being chased in the area of Merchant Street and Sullivan Lane, near Oddie Boulevard. Police found a 32-year-old man beaten and robbed. The victim told officers he had been chased by two Hispanic males in their late teens or early twenties. One was armed with a handgun. The two robbers ran away southbound on Sullivan Lane. Police say one robber has black spiky hair and a mustache, and was wearing a black hoodie and black shorts. The other is described as being heavyset and was wearing a black backwards NFL cap and dark clothing. Both are described as being 5′ 8.”
