State Treasurer Dan Schwartz made it official, he’s running for the republican nomination for Governor, throwing a wrench into the anointment by national republicans of Attorney General Adam Laxalt. A June poll showed Schwartz four points behind Laxalt, who is yet to announce. Schwartz calls Laxalt “Alt Right” and too focused on national controversies than on Nevada.
