Shots Fired in South Lake Tahoe

South Lake Tahoe Police are looking for information about someone firing shots Tuesday night. Shortly before midnight, dispatchers received several 911 calls regarding someone shooting a firearm in the 3900 block of Pioneer Trail. Officers found evidence that a semi-automatic handgun had been shot several times at that location. Witnesses reported two Hispanic men in their 20s with short dark hair driving a gold Ford Excursion or Explorer had pulled into the parking lot of a nearby business and begun firing several shots. Officers didn’t find the shooters during an area search, but police did contact two people considered “Investigative leads” at this point.
