Lyon County Commissioners are looking for people who’d like to be a part of their Citizen Advisory Boards. The two year term positions cover a wide variety of needs in the county, like giving advice on land use, as well as serving as a liaison between the citizens of Lyon County and the County Commissioners. There’s several boards you can get involved with including Dayton, Mason Valley, Moundhouse, Silver springs, Smith Valley, and Stagecoach, with two or three slots open at each location. You can apply online at lyon-county-dot-org, and all applications must be into their office by November 17th to be considered.
