Another contender for Governor has declared her intentions. Clark County commissioner, and former state legislator Chris Guinchigliani  will face a fellow county commissioner, Steve Sisolak for the democratic nomination. She called Sisolak a “Good guy” and a friend, but says she’s the better qualified candidate. She says her priorities will be education, mental health and addiction treatment, halping small business and advocating for higher wages. On the republican side, Attorney General Adam Laxalt is about to join State Treasurer Dan Schwartz in officially entering the race.
