A crash ended a police chase, after an incident that began shortly after 2PM Monday at Southwest Village Apartments near the Peppermill on South Virginia Street. Police and a woman got into a fight, and 31 year old Lanayah Happy got into her car and rammed at least one patrol car before speeding away, police giving chase. The driver went west on Plumb, north on McCarran, and east on Mayberry to California, where she hit another car. Happy was arrested for 2 counts of Battery with a Deadly Weapon on a Police Officer, 4 counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon on a Police Officer, Obstructing and Resisting Officers with a Deadly Weapon, Felony Eluding, suspicion of DUI-Drugs, and 2 warrants.
